The Buttles Caravan Park

The Buttles Caravan Park’s superb location it makes it a beautiful holiday location for all the family. The site is hidden right in the centre, close to all the attractions, that make Pembrokeshire a great place to stay. Whether you’re travelling from the East or the West, it is easily accessible tucked in just off the A477. Our caravan pitches are hard standing, level and have electric hookups. We’re a small site, nice and quiet so you can get a good night’s sleep yet only seven minutes drive to Saundersfoot beach.

Take a five minute train journey to the beautiful, picturesque seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot or visit the boutique shopping village of Narberth ten minutes in the other direction. Here you will have an array of spectacular restaurants, delicatessens and coffee shops to tickle your taste buds, after a day spent watching the waves roll in onto the Tenby beaches.

Buttles offers a clean, well-maintained toilet block, free shower facilities and hot water and even free WiFi. We’re a pet friendly site and we’re open all year round.

To thank our customer’s for their loyalty and good company we try to host a “start of the season” bbq and an “end of the season” small party – it’s the talk of the park for weeks after!!

There are a number of excursions to get involved in. Whether it be taking a boat trip across to visit the monks on Caldey Island, book a fishing trip from the picturesque Tenby Harbour or walking the famous National Park Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Make memories you’ll never forget!. When you’re on holidays you don’t want to be driving a long way to find a supermarket or pay for expensive provisions for the privilege of an onsite shop.  If we had to boast about The Buttles then it would be a boast about our location – there is a popular theme at the moment – location, location, location!

  • A ten minute flat walk takes you to the Begelly Arms for either a drink or an excellent meal.  Most Saturdays they provide live music.
  • A few minutes on and you will find the very popular traditional local bakery for fresh bread, rolls, pastries and cakes.
  • A five minute, straight up the road drive will put you in the car park of the local Co-operative supermarket.  Slightly further on is the Post Office and slightly further on is the launderette, fish & chip shop, Indian takeaway/restaurant and Chinese takeaway.

Dutch for ‘The Marshes’

The Buttles, which is Dutch for ‘The Marshes’, is a small caravan park run by the Jones family since 1966. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, a relaxed atmosphere and we are always here to take care of everything for you. Whether you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city or you want a safe environment for you and your family, The Buttles will cater for all your holiday needs.

The Buttles Caravan Park accommodates only 36 pitches so we’re small and friendly. With a brand new facilities block built in 2018, we’re proud of our facilities which include a dedicated disabled shower/toilet wet room and indoor washing up area. We’ve also added a washing machine & tumble dryer (charges apply) for your convenience.

We are proud sponsors of the ‘Best Caravan Park/Campsite’ for the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards!

Whatever your day involves; experiencing adrenaline-fueled thrills such as Coasteering or feeding the animals at Folly Farm nearby, The Buttles will provide you with a tranquil environment for you to return home to at the end of the day. Sneak down for a cheeky tipple at the Begelly Arms or make use of our of our new facilities, such as our toilet block with disabled toilet and showers.

We welcome families with children of all ages, though we should point out that as we’re a small caravan park, we’re unable to offer any children’s play area. The closest climbing frames, swings and slides are a ten minute flat walk/four minute drive away. We always welcome dogs with well-behaved owners, 2 dogs maximum, unless prior agreement has been made with us.
